Animal Care Technicians
Kathy and her husband, Ernie, celebrated 57 years of marriage in June 2017. They have one daughter and son-in-law and a grown granddaughter. At this time, kitties Ebony, Kink, Missy & Tiger are in residence. She was first employed by Arrowhead in 2005 following retirement from owning and directing Sunshine Preschool for 32 years. Kathy speaks “Cat” and finds similarities between working with children and animals. She states that “Animals are just kids with fur”.
Macy currently attends Penn Fosters online program for Veterinary Technicians and will graduate in 2018. She is one of our more experienced workers. Macy loves our patients and has a passion for helping animals and learning about veterinary medicine. She gets plenty of practice at home with her “miracle” Yorkie, Chance, who survived a bout of parvovirus as a fully vaccinated puppy and was thankful the vaccine company paid for the treatment. Macy also has a 95lb white Labrador named Thor.
